Our mandate for farmers in Nigeria

Seed and Tuber Agrovac (STA) is an agro-allied company incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with focus on producing, processing, trading, and exporting viable agricultural commodities. The company is an agricultural commodity firm, managed by experienced and proficient professionals from diverse fields ranging from agricultural and rural development, agricultural extension management, project monitoring & evaluation, soil & farm management; and cuts across various agricultural value chains.

With the objective of contributing a quota to securing the path to food security, STA has Partnered and collaborated with multi-sectoral key players including micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), government, private sector corporations, academia, donor agencies, and international development organizations to influence and implement long-lasting agricultural solutions that are geared towards a sustained, self-sufficient, and economically developed nation.

To take advantage of the transformative power of agriculture to increase the yield and overall livelihood of farmers in Nigeria.

STA leverages the potentials of the Agro-Allied sector of the Nigerian economy with a focus on the value chains of ginger, maize, rice, sesame seeds, and potatoes.

We carry out all the stages of agricultural production from site selection, and soil preparation to end-product storage management while supporting farmers in the various value chains with the best marketing platforms.

STA which aims to be one of the best agro-allied companies in Nigeria was established out of a strong belief that commercial farming and industrial processing are potential key drivers in the Nigerian economy. It employs modern technologies and seasoned professionals on board in its management to drive its overall capacity towards contributing its quota to national food security.
